G - 2013 Exclusive Australian Tour
Garry Stewart is one of the world’s best known choreographers. He redefined Swan Lake into the wry and action packed Birdbrain, which went on to become Australia’s most performed contemporary dance work. And now he completely reinvents the ballet Giselle with G.
Fusing the technical prowess of classical ballet with explosive choreography, the eleven formidable dancers of Australian Dance Theatre embody the central themes of hysteria, vulnerability, desire, gender, death and the afterlife.
